भोजन थाली

थाली में कभी भी जूठा भोजन नहीं छोड़ना चाहिए। थाली में उतना ही भोजन लें, जितना आप आराम से खा सकें। भोजन को कूड़े में फेंकना अन्न का अपमान है। सदैव हाथ, पैर और मुँह धोकर ही भोजन करना चाहिए। खाना शुरू करने से पहले भगवान का ध्यान कर उन्हें भोग जरूर लगायें। भोजन थाली के चारों तरफ पानी छिड़कना चाहिए, जिससे कीट आदि भोजन की थाली से दूर रहें। खाना शुद्ध जगह पर ही बनाना चाहिए। माता, पत्नी और कन्या के द्वारा बनाया गया भोजन ही शुद्ध और वृद्धि करने वाला माना गया है। सबसे पहले भोजन-सामग्री अग्निदेव को समर्पित करनी चाहिए। इसके बाद गाय, कुत्ते, कौए, चींटी और देवताओं के लिए भोजन-ग्रास निकालना चाहिए। इसके बाद यदि घर में कोई मेहमान आया हो, तो उसे भोजन कराना चाहिए। इसके बाद खाना कैसा भी बना हो, उसे प्रसाद समझकर खुद ग्रहण करना चाहिए।

Only food prepared by mother, wife and daughter is considered pure and nourishing. First of all the food items should be dedicated to Agnidev. After this, food-gras should be taken out for cows, dogs, crows, ants and gods. After this, if any guest has come to the house, he should be served food. After this, no matter how the food is prepared, it should be consumed as Prasad.
